How does the money get to me?
We ACH funds for free to USA bank accounts or by company check. For International merchants we can wire funds at our cost of $27 or send company check


Do I get statements?
Are they online or snail mail?

You may review every aspect of your account online. We don't send statements by regular mail


What is the charge back rate?

We hope you never have any chargebacks but the rate is $15. To reduce fraud we send emails to your customers and letter by regular mail. Both are fully customizable


How long have you been in business?

Ematic Inc was spun out as a private corporation from Information Projects Group, Inc., co-developers with BPS Software of Houston, Texas, of PowerTools for AOL, the most popular add-on software for America Online. Ematic was incorporated in State of Delaware in April, 2001.


Is there a limit to transaction size?

There is no minimum and within reason no maximum. We do verify orders with your customers.


Does it depend on the amount of the transaction how fast you get the money?


No USA/Canadian merchants are paid 10 days after transaction date. International merchants are paid 15 days. You can check schedule of payment online.

You can sign-up and begin to immediately process orders. All the forms we require for receiving payment are online. You can print them out and fax them to us.

Private Label allows you to completely brand our solution as your own. It integrates with your own domain name although it runs on our servers. Just determine a word to replace www in your domain name and then point this sub domain to our server by updating your DNS record.

I called the toll free number listed on your web site and they answerd with something other than Ematic.. I asked if they were Ematic they said no. I verified that I called the number correctly... I did. What's going on? :)

Your service seems to be pretty good (by the way, if you just got a fax call on your voice line... sorry :) (i'm stupid today))

The site keeps kicking me out though for some reason, all my information is verified and I faxed in all the documents - I think you need a little bit better documentation. (Just trying to get your service more user oriented).

I think your system should send confirmation emails to the person signing up? I got none, that's just odd :)

Check your e-mail too, I sent in some inquiries but I am unable to get in touch with you by voice.

Ok, I signed up for your services... I got my account verified or whatever... you charged me a little over a buck and everything like that... I was trying to figure out if I get that dollar back, it is not refunded to my card so I was wondering if it was in my ematic account (not that I am worried about the dollar, just curious.) I tried to log in again, I was a little sleepy at the time and I couldn't remember what I setup as my username... and I couldn't find an email from you with my account details... did your system send details automatically? Anyways I was pretty sure I remembered, the problem was that when I try to login it sits there for about 2 minutes and gets nowhere...
I think you need some faster servers... this makes me wonder how long it will take for one of my client's orders to go through...
I would suggest you get yourself a new host, or a new server ASAP, as this does not look very professional, it is just too slow. I had this problem with your servers being slow when I was setting up my account too... I was busy doing other things at the same time so I wasn't worried about it, and we all have our slow days so I figured it would go away... nope, still slow...

Thanks for your post. I'll try to answer your questions here.

You set up and account with us on 4/9 under the name TheException (no spaces). Ematic account names are not case sensitive but password are case sensitive. We currently do not send a confirmation email as we let the user select their own account name and password so there is no delay in having access to their account.

However, we will be putting in place a confirmation email.

I am having help@ematic.com change your password and send you a new one so you can access your account.

The amount charge to your card is for verifying your identity. When you log into your Ematic account you will be prompted to enter the amount that was obtained from your card statement or credit card company. Your account will then be marked as verified.

Let help@ematic.com know if you have any problems.

Most likely you experienced slowness because you did not provide the right password. Nevertheless our system can be slow due to any number of reasons. We have a lot of free users of our email software that we are in the process of moving off our platform. We are also transitioning to a complete Java solution which should really speed up database access. This will be done by the end of May. Its not a server issue but database access issue.

However, once you have access to your account you should try submitting some test orders. This will give you idea of what your customers will experience. You can request a refund for any order or reject it, if set to manual processing, by sending email to help@ematic.com.

I hope you will bear with us as we move our solution to complete Java solution which will rectify the speed issues. This should be completed by end of May.

I'll have new password issued to the email account you provided during registration.

I liked the response time, especially considering I didn't actually contact you directly.

That makes perfect sense with the speed, I would imagine it will be much faster after the changes.

Thanks for your post. The proposed changes do affect us as they do all 3rd party/aggregators. However, this is slow moving industry and I am confident we will be able to comply with any rule changes and/or make necessary adjustments.
