Anybody have any experiances with CPPOP taking up to 60seconds to 180seconds for a user to connect and get their mail?

I've looked around but I can't find anything that would solve this problem.

Fresh install of RedHat 7.2 and CPanel 4.7. Everything seems to be updated.

Point one: CPanel servers don't use exim for pop. :-)

All users? or just 1 user?

How big is their mailbox content?

We had the same problem on one box (and I made the same mistake).

Make sure your resolv.conf lists your nameserver, and not DarkOrb's - that should correct it.
