Is there any available performance test between redhat linux standard server and cobalt raq if all other thing are approximately same;

ie; both 1 GHZ CPU, 1 GB RAM, same version of php and mysql etc.

Then if we do a complicated query in 100.000 rows of mysql then how much time does it take to get response or how many queries at the same time to be handled etc.

Raq 4's have a 450Mhz processor - not a 1Ghz :)

XTR's have 850 - 1 Ghz processors

Perhaps he's got one of those.

OOOops i missed some point. I must be sleeping or in a hurry. But the mostimportnat part of the question is simply they have the same configuration.

While our company's sites were in cobalt raq, we were almost appreciated, then we moved a redhat shared linux box with better RAM and CPU then in general everything seems same except connection type.

Just i wondered if there is such statistics or not. Or any experiences..
