Hello, I am having extreme trouble trying to make the simplest graphics.

You see, I am trying to design a site for my hosting company, and I cant do anything without graphics, cuz my graphic work is just terrible.

This is the graphic, I am trying to copy, well not copy, but just take its design and put my own words in it, itstead of its word.

And it is obviously so simple i just cant do it. The main problem is that I know it is a gradient fill but it is a fill inside of rounded rectangle, but in photoshop I cant seem to put a gradient inside just a rounded rectangle. It just wants to fill up the entire canvas with the gradient.

So I believe you photoshop people out there, it would take about 10 seconds to make this, so could you give me some advice on where to start. Sometimes these simple graphics I try to make, turn out being much harder than anticipated, thanks for your input...

It's not 10 seconds, more like 1 second: alt-click on the line which separates the gradient layer and the rectangle below.

its a lil more complicated that that take the rectangle tool make one layer the background color cut that in half another layer at 60% use the gradiant tool to match colors. and cut the bottom off like in the picture
