Paul-UKWSD 04-09-2002, 12:20 PM You need to upload it to web space, the domain name mapped to the webspace will then be your URL i.e. yourdomainname.com NexDog 04-09-2002, 12:33 PM Originally posted by illusionist right now i have my website in my hdand its url but right now is e:folders/mysite. what do i have to do to make it http;//www.mysitename.com ??? 1. A domain name is 8.95 at GoDaddy, so I don't think there is any reason to not get a domain name (many people I've talked to refuse to even visit Geocities web sites for example, due to the annoying popup ads). And if you don't have any money to spend, you can always direct the domain at some free web space, and make sure that people won't have to update their bookmarks once you get your site professionally hosted.
