SUBDOMAINS!!! I just want pointers really.. so myname.mydomain.com would forward to http://www.mydomain.com/myname without changing the URL in the web browser :)

I would say 300MB+ and a 10GB transfer would be great. Unix preferred :)

VDI hosts will be capable of filling your needs..... Such as :

VDI hosts? What are those?

They're located at the VDI Network Operations Center (http://www.vdi.net) - they have excellent dedicated servers and plenty of lines running into the center so you should have no problems with any of the three hosts I mentioned.
