hey i was wondering if i could run my own domain selling website.
its like this:
lets say its called : www.mydomainsellingwebsite.com
and on this site i have 1 or two pages containing the domains i own.
and on that page i would also have amy phone number
and if someone wants to buy the domain, they can call me.
can i do that?
and can i also auction my domains elsewhere like e-bay or some other non-domain relating site?

You could do that, but it's a tough business to crack. Are you looking at selling any domains, or buying specific ones that you feel are worth something? If you just want to sell any domains you would probably do best starting with some kind of reseller account from Enom or a site like that.

There is no reason you can't run your own domain site.
Check out http://www.domainsellerpro.com.
It will make your life easier.

There are pros and cons to this. The pros being that if you "do-it-yourself" you don't have to pay anyone any commissions. On the other hand, professional domain sales websites like Sedo and Afternic get more traffic and they handle your sales in a professional manner.
In addition, like with Sedo parking, you at least get some income on your name while it is up for sale AND there is less of a chance that someone will accuse you of "hoarding" domain names. Some people are weird about this. They feel like you should have only so much time to develop a commercial website before you should have to give-up the domain (usually to them :D ). Having a PPC search page there usually diffuses those nasty emails... because it is a for-profit viable use of the domain name.
Good Luck! ;)
