Does anybody have a clue about these guys ? They are dead cheap ($20,- a year for 1 Gb space and 1 Gb traffic) ? I tried them last sunday and they were totally vanished ? No errors, no nothing. DNS lookup went dead, traceroute said unknown, all my tricks ended in not found.
Now suddenly they are back online, and I was wondering if anybody has any ideas about them ?
Thx !

Never heard of 'em, but the name gives me the creeps. Lowest cost? Can they prove it? I've heard of hosts for $1 a month. That's cheaper. I have a site with Microworld which I paid about $30 for lifetime hosting. After about a year and a half, that's cheaper.
Reminds me of NoMonthlyFees. Big deal, they just charged $70 a year to make up for it. I understand that they now charge $120(?).

Doesn't that URL just sound a tad bit dodgy?
I don't think i would ever sign up for hosting with a company like that? The name just puts me off.
To tell you the truth, I don't believe in extremely cheap hosting companies. I think you get what you pay for and if you pay almost nothing for it, you get almost nothing back.
But that's just me :)

I think the name should explain everything.. Anything with low/cheapest/99cents etc hosting usually aren't around that long.. If they are usually there support and uptime shows it.. Hey I know I can get 20 minutes for "just a buck" but hosting.. I think i'll pass.

They are "dead" cheap. ;) Didn't $20 per year for 1 GB of space and 1 GB of traffic set off warning flags? They are obviously overselling disk space, which means they could run out of disk space if everyone started using what they offered. At least they're not hugely overselling bandwidth like I see other $20 per year hosts do. Did you stop to think how they could possibly be comfortably making money with prices that low?

I don't think that'll be a problem....after all it looks like they've found the rare unlimited hard drive :D

Maybe they attempt to make up for the disk usage with their charges for extra bandwidth (ie. bandwidth beyond the limit is $9.99/gig):
From their FAQ:
What is the charge if I exceed the monthly data transfer limit, or the diskspace limit?
A. You are charged $9.99 for each additional 1000MB of bandwidth or disk space used.
