I have a dedicated plesk machine. If I wanted to give reseller capability to a client, and wanted the client to have his own NS, how would I go about doing this? I looked through plesk, but was unsuscessful in finding any info... If anyone knows how to do this please inform me. Thank You!

Well, you'd create a client and give them permission to create accounts and control their DNS (if that's what you want to do). They can have a set of IPs to work with, and can set up nameservers themselves. If they have problems, you can manually go in and set up things as needed. Not sure what you want to know specifically.

The way we do it:
Create the client.
In PREFERENCES assign 2 IPs.
Enter DNS
Delete the default NS records
Replace them with the desired nameserver names
Create 2 A records for the IPs
Then you have to tell your reseller to register the IPs and names with their registrar and once that's done they can start modifying nameserver records

Thanks for the info....however I want the reseller's domains to automatically have thier own NS information. SO everytime they creat a new account the resellers NS is put into the zone file. Please let me know if I should further clarify...

I don't think that's posible the reseller has to add the nameservers to the domains that are created. correct me if I'm wrong.

Willy, you're not wrong. :)
When a new domain is created in Plesk it pulls the DNS zone file out of the file found in DNS under the SERVER tab. Resellers have to go into their new domain's DNS file and delete the default NS records and substitute them with their own.
Difficult process and takes about 45 seconds. :D

Can I set it up so that the reseller can create sites with name based hosting under his own IP?

...as opposed to the server IP I'm guessing, and I don't think it is possible either. The reseller control is pretty good, however, some of the server defaults aren't reseller friendly (if you want to call it that). Namebased hosting on their IP isn't possible (nor is default resller DNS set ups, etc.), however pretty much everything else seems to be.

Right again, Chicken. Plesk servers can only handle one namebased IP per box.
