Very few hosting companies offer SSH to their resellers. Some do though. It's supposed to be a security risk.
Putty rules the roost in Windows land.

Hiya,

I have to say I find it very useful, but it is also a more advanced tool. I would recommend using Putty as Marcos said.

Another vote for putty here, but I am curious why you feel SSH is a must have on a reseller account?

Rather than having SSH, I would go for a host that is ready to help me out really fast in the rare occasions when something actually requires more advanced access to the server. That is a real must for a reseller. :)

Thanks guys,

I agree that the reseller company should provide fast support. but some issues are sometimes easy to do, but since you don't have access to the actual system, you need to wait an hour or so for a response..

Anyways, thanks for the input!!!!

The "MUST HAVE" thing was more a question...... just to know how you guys manage things...

PLease, any other inout will be very welcome.

Regards

Marcos

Well shell access is really great, and can speed up many tasks, but pretty much everything hosting related you would need to do can be taken care of via the control panel and/or FTP anymore.
