does anyone else here use 49pence? i've used them for the past eighteen months or longer and have had nothing but trouble with them.

their support tends to be next to non-existent: slow, unhelpful, inflexible. it appears to have recently taken an uphill direction with the addition of a new staff member, but their communication with customers leaves a lot to be desired.

for example, i've just been notified that due to network upgrades the ability to add ftp accounts and domains (yes, domains) has been removed for two weeks (and has been down since last week in any case). what do they expect us to do? and surely as people reselling their services we should be the first to know?

anyway, just wondering if anyone else uses this awful company. if so then perhaps we can gang up to try to knock some sense into them...

Sorry to hear about your experience. But if it's really that bad have you ever considered moving to another host? As once a host goes downhill, it's usally impossible to see them become a great webhost.
Kind Regards,
GB.

Thanks for the advice. I do actually have a second reseller account which I'm slowly migrating users on to, though there are a few downsides of the new people - not supporting MySQL, and being US-based servers rather than UK-based, which is a slight issue.
