What is your most valuable web surfing tool?
Well, aside from a browser and a connection and a . . . . . well you know what I mean.? :D

For me, it's Alert Bookmarks (http://www.alertbookmarks.com/alert.htm).
I would be lost without it. :(
I have other things that are way more fun. But this is a tool that has proved to be an invaluable asset.

Just my $11.28 worth. . . . . . eh, inflation. Whatcha gonna do?

Mine would have to be Whisper 32 (http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-10105-100-873342.html?tag=st.dl.10001-103-1.lst-7-1.873342) for storing all my passwords.

Popup Ad-Filter (http://www.meaya.com) is awfully useful... though I can't get script debugging to stay disabled so instead I seem to get a lot of javascript errors.

The one I rely on the most would be Password Agent for storing all my passwords so they'll be readily available.

I do not use any programs to store my password, because I only have one.

Professional version, i registered it and id be lost without it, ive not seen a single advert in the last 2 years since i purchased it !

SecureCRT - my remote servers would be lost without it :-)

mIRC id not have 200 people constantly telling me what sites are bad enough for me to visit if it wasnt for mIRC.

I like Web Highliter (http://www.pcmag.com/article/0,2997,s=1476&a=24244,00.asp). Lets you highlight stuff in any webpage (like an Internet Explorer addon thing from Microsoft), but you can highlight in various styles, add notes to your highlight, add links to your highlight, see an index of all things you have highlited, and highlights are preserved until you delete them. Very useful.

I'd been using PopUpKiller. But, since they've stopped development (I believe), I think I better get a different tool.
This looks like it could work out.

My choice would have to be ePrompter (http://www.eprompter.com). The program allows you to setup up to 16 POP3/IMAP e-mail accounts and will ping them at any time intervel you set. I like this program because I no longer have to have another program, MS Outlook, open while surfing the NET to see if I have e-mail. It also allows you to reply and compose messages but my main use for the program is having it tell me when I have new e-mail.

not really surfing tools as such, but SecureCRT and Sam Sapde - I use both of them several times a day, and they're as important as my browser to me.

Beyond that I don't really use anything to check out websites.
