View Full Version : Merchant Account with Creaway??????
nicholas22 08-29-2005, 06:52 AM I'm almost ready to open a high risk 3rd party merchant account with Creaway, yet I still have some hesitation about that. Has anybody been cheated by those guys or I can trust them?

cdgcommerce 08-29-2005, 07:26 AM Not familiar with them... is there a Web site that you can point us all to?
nicholas22 08-30-2005, 05:24 AM http://www.creawayoffshore.com/without_flash/html/en/index.html?
They seem to have started reconstructing their main web-site, so this is what we have.
trinitron 08-30-2005, 10:48 AM The website looks pretty straight forward, and also there are contact information on it.
Anyway, why not give them a call and maybe visit there office so that you can see who you are dealing with ? They have a office in Belgium and the US.
nicholas22 09-01-2005, 12:47 PM Well, they actually don't provide gateway integration. So, customer will have to get to some other page and fill in all the information there... In most cases he'll get scared of scam and give up.
Do you know any reliable 3rd party processor, who would take high risk merchants and provide gateway integration?
FashionPoint 04-26-2006, 11:21 AM Long time passed since this thread got started. Anyone tried them so far? Here's another website: www.creaway.fr. Both sites still don't work.
trinitron, looks like know they are based in France. At least the phone codes are suggesting it.
tonymercmobily 08-19-2006, 03:40 PM Hello,
A close friend of mine dealt with Creaway a couple of years ago. I witnessed some of it.
Creaway is a 1 man company. They don't have "offices" - in fact, there is no "they". It's just a single person. According to my friend's experience, he is either amazingly disorganised, or amazingly dishonest. And, he said that he either doesn't understand English, or he just pretends not to.
The web site has been down for months now. Stability in a company is something you want to count on. His previous web site had a _lot_ of sentences in common with a lot of other web sites, which suggests cut&paste.
Beware, if you want to deal with any offshore provider. The best thing to do is to check that they don't have a "virtual office" (this will save you from 1-man companies), that they actually answer the phone and that they are serious.
Bye,
FashionPoint 08-20-2006, 04:29 AM I've also had bad experience with creaway. They asked $6K to open offshore merchant account but didn't provide any guarantees. They asked that money are transferred to them first. They acted as regular crooks. By the way, when I spoke with their manager over the phone they spoke English, but I could only understand half of what he is saying.
tonymercmobily 08-20-2006, 10:40 AM Hi,
I may add that "their manager" was probably "the company". In fact, there isn't a "company", but simply "him".
I wonder what company he's opened now and who's ripping off. Sad.

Be ware of creway they is reseller of swissnet.cc ---->CSAM
william786 01-03-2008, 03:04 PM creaway is a scam and debitsystem.net
Failsafe Payments 01-03-2008, 05:35 PM Not even sure they are around anymore but yes; they are a scam.
I know several merchants getting ripped off and I was personally a victim of their "cut and paste" as they took material from my own website and used as their own.
Asher S 01-04-2008, 06:51 AM Creaway is an absolute scam. Company run by "James Reid", he pretends to be a bigshot and pretends his company is "all that". Take my advice (as I've been burned personally by this crook), steer clear of Creaway. They resell the worst possible solutions and you'll end up losing all your money.
