You're missing nothing. I have several accounts with CyberWings and have been extremely pleased. So far they have met all my expectations and plus some. Account set-up can take a few days, but Ive been happpy. I actually bought seven accounts or so at the sale price, and I will set them up as I add more domains (you are allowed to do that).
They depend on the fact that more and more people will sign up each month, and that will allow them to pay their bills. They have been around for some time now, and you might even want to do a search on them, there have been some interesting (positive) posts about them in the past.
Good luck :)

I was asleep I guess. I forgot about the search. Could somebody lock this topic ?

Hmm.. What will happen when number of newcomers stop to increase? Though I don't think that they would have any problems because hardly any of users will worry about their several dollars.

I also saw their recent prices. They are VERY low.
You think they will increase them substantially after your first year?
Thanks.

Hmmm, I dont know what will happen then... but I know I am getting one heck of a value for $2.40 or so a year per account! This is one of those things where I went in with NO expectations but continue to be amazed. Don't get me wrong though, I think so far they have been AMAZING, but I wouldn't put a business site on there quite yet, though many people have.
I think they are amazing for personal sites, and it is much cheaper than getting a reseller account!

please do your research before you decide to host with these guys. My experience with them has been very bad, not even worht the low prices.

The thing that confuses me, the plan they have mentioned is 8 servers per T-1 line.
The cheapest, absolute cheapest, per month T-1 I've ever seen (local loop, bandwidth, the whole 9 yards) is $399.
Problem is, I have 2 servers in my colo, total of about 800 web sites, and they pulled 1.436 megabits on 95% last month, a T-1 is 1.544 megabits.
So let's say 1000 smaller personal type sites (the type that's gonna sign up for $4 a year or $4 a month hosting) per T-1 is what "I" would barely be able to get.
$4000 per year ($4 x 1000 sites) and $4788 per year for the T-1 = loss of $788 per year if I were to match this pricing structure, as I'm nearly using a full T-1 NOW with only 800 sites on the wire.
If I put 8 servers (roughly 3000-4000 web sites) on a single T-1 it'd be horribly slow. (800 sites is using roughly 95% of a T-1 now, and this ain't theoretical numbers in a business plan!).
I can't make it add up. Of course I hear they're going reseller only soon, and those look like they'd be a bit more profitable :)
Of course now that they're hosting several thousand sites, word of mouth will begin working for them, and not everyone reads WHT :D
But still, I hope they can make profit in the long run, because as the number of client grows, the cost will grow also.
