HI THERE :)

I used to have another Third Party Processor, but when PayPal started WebAccept for international account, I switched.

I have an international verified Business account.

I have a visa card and a bank account with the PostBank in The Netherlands. I both entered them in my PayPal info and they are verified.

The problem is now that I can not withdrawal money, because for some reason it bounces back.
I did a withdrawal to the Postbank bank-account number, which is totally correct, just like my name. The transaction bounced back. I contacted my bank right away and they told me that they cannot tell what went wrong. They told me to check how PayPal tried to transfer the money, to see what was incorrect. They couldn't even find the transaction self!

I read on the PayPal site that VISA card get credited automatically by every log-in, which is not the case with me.

This means that if it doesn't get credited to my creditcard, nor to withdrawn to my bank account, the money stays on the balance....while I NEED IT!!!!!!! :bawling:

CAN SOMEBODY ADVISE ME?

Thanks :)

Marsha

Bank account withdrawal rejections occur because:

a) the routing transit number/bank account numbers you have listed are incorrect

or

b) the name on the PayPal account does not match the receiving bank's information, or vice versa. International banks are exceptionally picky about having this information matching.

PayPal directs the withdrawal to the information you input. The actual rejection actually occurs on the receiving bank's end.

Hello Damon
Just so you know (and in case anyone asks) the reasonfor this is that most european countries have anti money laundering legislation.
It used to be possible for anyone to pay cash into anyones bank account because there was no security risk, but now only the account holder can do it.
Before anyone else is allowed to pay very large amounts in they need to certify to the bank that its not a money laundering operation (which is a long drawn out process).

Thats the situation in the UK anyway.

The name that I gave in with PayPal by the bank account, matches the name on my bank statement exactly!

Maybe I don't understand the routing transit number that well, I assumed it was the SWIFT number. Please let me know, if I understand that wrong.

My bank doesn't really know what PayPal means. I called their International Transfer departement to try to explain it, to see what possibly went wrong.
One lady (of the tons of people that I 've been transferred to ..) thought that she heard of PayPal and that it could be rejected for security reasons. Don't ask me why.. maybe it's for the reason GordonH just explained.

I guess I should check an alternative for the bank, because the bounce-back costs me $30 something everytime, so I don't want to run the risk of bounce back again, because it makes me lose money instead of make money. :(

Is it possible for PayPal to credit it to my Visa CC or send a check?

Thanks so far!!!!!

No, PayPal can't cut a check to an international address.

This really does sound like an issue with the routing transit/bank account number. Have you asked the bank which ones you need to do an ach transfer?

I don't know much about international bank accounts and writing checks, but US banks have these numbers printed at the bottom of every check. I am going to assume that there is something similar in foreign countries.

The routing transit number is typically on the left, while the actual account number sits to the right of the routing transit number.

I decided not to go with paypal for sure.

I requested information and they were quick to give me exellent details on how it works, trying to get me in as a customer. I then heard of a freind that had $800.00 frozen in an account. I reseached it on the net by keywords "Paypal Freezing" and found some articles and sites by angry people. When I asked Paypal about this in an Email, their reply was sending me back to the same form that I had asked the question on in the first place.

Talk about being made to run around in circles. I am still looking for an alternative. I first tried to check my own bank, But they referred me to this site.

http://www.merchantexpress.com/

I am still not sure what I will do as I am not at the point to make a decision yet. But it won't be PayPal.

I haven't even read this post but I'm sure it's another reliability issue, or unable to get funds... or not fast enough, etc.

I use PayPal for select customers - Who don't want to give credit card info / won't... Etc....

PayPal sweeps funds into my account daily and all funds are available within 2 days (just like a merchant account) - The tracking features and support is amazing, all phone calls are answered within 15 minutes and e-mails within 30 minutes. I've personally never had a problem and I don't know why so many people do...

I also use it to pay all of my ebay auctions :) It's sooo easy.

Don't get me wrong, merchant account is the best way to go - But PayPal (ro other 3rd parties) are required.
