Hello everyone. I'm in the process of setting up my free domain hosting site, and I was wondering if there are any domain registrars that have webmaster programs. Since I am hosting domains for free, I won't be bringing in a TON of money, and don't want to get a reseller account or anything. I'm just curious if there is a registrar that does this. ...A webmaster refers someone to the registrar, and in return for a domain registration, the webmaster gets a commission, or base price. Any ideas from anyone? Thanks in advance

Godaddy has an affiliate program where you can make some money refering people to them for domain registration. See here: https://signup.cj.com/member/brandedPublisherSignUp.do?air_refmerchantid=1513033

Or you could always get a enom reseller account at a decent base price and integrate that into your site. You could then set your own prices on domain registrations and manage it all yourself.

Godaddy's referral program requires a TaxID.

Any Affiliate referral program where you get a commission payout requires a tax ID. Anytime a business hands out money, it must be reported to the IRS on form 1099.

Did you look at doteasy affiliate program? They give $5 for every domain registration.

Hi Adam,

You also might wish to check out Dotster.com...We just joined their reseller program and have access to all of their tools, such as the Whois, NameSpin, etc.

I had a look at doteasy. I think I can get more of my clients to sign up for 9/year rather than 25/year. Doteasy is a little high priced.
