Hmm that is wired I just received IM on the speed

Perhaps EviL_SmUrF wants to wait for a while before posting the result. It might be some traffic congestion when you conduct a speed test.

I honestly don't see any congestion between my datacenter (hivelocity) and his.

Dunno, perhaps hivelocity is having some issues. I have opened a ticket up with them about some congestion i've noticed between them and another datacenter (not proshock's)

it's odd either way =/ maybe it's the cheap cogent bandwidth at work lol

here is what I got from the Hivelocity DC 881.04K/s , so EviL_SmUrF , I think it is something with your box , my techs are aware of your ticket , and it should be looked at soon.

yeah, i just checked again and my box is fluctuating between 150-200K/sec still trying to download his file.

there we go, they put a new ethernet cable on my box and the speed is much better. you have a good network going on there :)

On my broadband connection I got 100kb a sec when I can get upto 300ish and from America normally 250k, from my texas server i was getting 600k when I can normally get upto 5meg a sec
