Hello everyone,

I'm stuck as to which payment processor to use. I looked at 2CheckOut, but it looks like they charge 5.5% of sale amount plus $0.45 per sale. On my current minimum plan, that's $0.77 per user, which would cost me $107.80 in profit per month.

So, what should I do to combat this? $107.80 is a lot of potential income. So basically, I'm either looking for a payment processor (Compatible with WhoisCart please) that charges a solid monthly fee, less than $107.80/mo, or charges less per sale.

I was thinking of adding an extra fee per month, but I personally think that would be just sneaky. (I may increase prices though if need-be, because I still want to recieve $4.99 per account, otherwise it screws up my entire business plan, lol)

Where are you located and how much do you process monthly?

If you are in the United States and doing more than $1,000 a month, you might consider a merchant account and an electronic payment gateway (Verisign's Payflow, LinkPoint, Authorizenet.com).

When figuring out your prices, you need to take into consideration all your fees and do your due diligence. It is the cost of doing business basically.

If you are not in the United States, you might check out Worldpay - but it all depends on your location, monthly volume, type of products / services
