After many years reselling successfully for Verio/Iserver, we've ventured out on our own. We've already got a server with Alabanza (we're happy with them, aware of their pricing and tech support issues etc.) and are now looking to expand our multi-domain/"unlimited" domain hosting resellers brand. We're pretty happy (and so are our customers) with Cpanel/WHM. We have a server with Liquid Web and are fairly happy with them. We would like to find a ripping deal somewhere so we can remain competitive in this "space" and also offer our own dedicated servers. I guess one of the big questions we have is whether to find a managed server (like our liquid web one) or a colo. We're a small company and to be honest, we don't have someone to replace a drive at 3am if one fails. Does that rule out colo for us, or is there any kind of colo/managed hybrid that we can take advantage of? I appreciate any help and insight into this situation as I'm sure that there have been many on this forum who have taken the leap from reselling and have had to make similar decisions.
