Is what I see when I try to order off of 2checkout.com, what happened to them?
AcuNett 04-07-2002, 11:24 AM I was just about to post that :). I keep getting 500 errors when I go to the purchase page. It's been like that since 5AM, or maybe even earlier.
XDude 04-07-2002, 11:26 AM The error just changed from software error to internal server error for me, I guess that means they are working on it.
I still say they are the best :).
ARETNA 04-07-2002, 11:31 AM Yep...Same thing here...Wished they had phone support:angry:

Yep, It's broke for me too.......
I'll bet the folks at 2Checkout are busy creating New Vocabulary right about now !:D :D (son of a ........... Mutter ...........)
They'll get it back online in a couple hours I'm sure, Besides..... Arn't all the customers still in church this morning?
ARETNA 04-07-2002, 11:50 AM Arn't all the customers still in church this morning? [/B]
LOL!:stickout
XDude 04-07-2002, 12:41 PM Oh yeah, uh... I was just leaving for that!
mdrussell 04-07-2002, 01:08 PM They are aware of the issue, and working in it.
I don't see how it can take so long just to install a module for Perl, though...
(SH)Saeed 04-07-2002, 01:26 PM I don't understand why they should have this kind of problem. It should be of the highest priority for them to keep their website online and accessable since even a minor downtime can result in lost of customers for many companies.
I don't know what their problem is, but they should have an offline version of their service where they can add and test new things and once it's working add it to the live version.
Just my $0.02..
xirus 04-07-2002, 02:25 PM Don't know if this is related or not but my 2checkout.com acount has been up and down last night impossible for any transactions. :(
ARETNA 04-07-2002, 02:32 PM Matt, I agree. How hard is it to install a module? Maybe you should offer them some pointers...
LOL
avara 04-07-2002, 03:16 PM Same problems here. Right now it seems to be more or less back, but without my custom headers and footers.
I think the problems started yesterday, and it really stinks being left in the dark about the problems.

Already did. It does stink, our custom headers and footers are down too...
Ok,
Please let me know when it's back up.
If you need help installing the DBD mod let me know.

(SH)Saeed 04-07-2002, 04:51 PM It looks like they're back up.. Anyone that kept track of how many hours they were down?
You're right it does stink.
Inputting the "module" may be simple, when the host can be reached to do it.
Our host decided to "upgrade their kernel" (all gobblygook to me) with their usual "no prior warning".
Of course the Headers and Footers would also be dropped, since that is a feature we host for you also.
mdrussell 04-08-2002, 03:39 AM Naughty interland.

Interland again??
To heck with them, aren't they the ones that were hacked in the infamous NSI story?
BTW, speaking of headers, TomD, ours still don't work. We've had a complete website overhaul, it's entirely in compliance with your coding guidelines, but still no luck.
I must be cursed or somethin'
