I have repeatedly requested that a spammer stop sending me email to no avail! I would like to know , is there a way to "spam theses spammers?" I would like to give them a taste of their own medicine.

One of the worst things to do is to write to a spammer. Then they know that your email address is valid and they can sell it to millions of other spammers.

There are mechanisms for reporting spammers, but most of the time they hide behind temporary or false email addresses.

There's one spammer called Edward Van Eck. I will like to find out where he lives and physically visit him. He has terrorized my mailbox for more than a year. Honestly, if I find a way to make his internet life miserable for one minute, I would.

My favorite, especially if it is a company spamming you, visit their website and take down their fax number. Then create a document in MS Word that goes to the borders of the page. Make the background completely black and in small white text write out a message telling them to leave you alone. Center the text. Of course you won't hear back from them on your nice fax but it is nice to think they have some small thermal fax machine where the cartridges cost more than $30 a piece. :D

As for myself, all faxes go to an e-mail account so I can just delete them in case anyone got some strange ideas...:rolleyes:

Someone told me to just use the spammers email address and sign up for everything you can find. I guess that would annoy them.

You guys are coming up with some good ideas. I like your idea Hostdogs! I'm going to try that out. BTW I use the free J2 communications fax number myself (http://www.j2.com/free/free.asp) . It sends all my faxes to an email address that I specify. I never print anything unless I want to.

Often fake addresses are used and contact with their "company" is vial fax or phone. If the email address is a real address, then I agree, nice idea.

One way of filling the spammer's inbox is to use the FFA link sites. Submit a site using their return address. I know from experience that the FFA sites generate so much spam, I had to completely abandon a web-based email account due to the spam generated from the FFA sites.

Yeah, its a good idea. FFA sites sends many mails until you unsubscribe. Result is simply ful of mail box.

Further, they continue to give your email address to anyone else that they can think of. Believe me, this is a great way to fill up an inbox and to waste a lot of bandwidth :-)

Yeah! And that is when you fax them the black page, 10 times! Be sure to dial *67 first so they cant block you.
