I am attempting to install php 4.1.2 on a cobalt raq 3.
However, I ran into a weird problem with installing (following the exact same steps done on my previous two RAQ 3 servers without any problems.)
I followed the instructions as provided here:
http://www.directphp.com/htmltonuke.php?filnavn=pages/InstallphpRaq3.html
But, after typing the ./configure command, it says the following error:
checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... configure: error: newly created file is older than distributed files!
Check your system clock
I thought this was caused by the server time (in the control panel) being set wrong, but after fixing that problem it still does not work.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong on this paticular server?
Thanks,
DK
