Hi,

I'm about to be offerred a new job. But theres a catch i need to get some qualifications behind me. The place are willing to give me the job on the understanding i have 1 day a week day release to goto college/uni and do courses in my spare time.

I have a fairly good knowledge of computers - can fix them ... Very good at breaking them :P. I currently teach for my college ( Bradford Community College ). But what i teach is for beginners .... Giving them the courage to get inside there machines and change parts...Play with bios and be confident... No biggie really.

Now can anyone recommend any good qualifications to aim for... This job they want to offer me is being a junior technicain of an educational network. I currently have only basic knowledge of nt ... Know lots about windows 98... Id need to know both as the network is nt with windows 98 over the top.

I'm not entirly sure if i want to just focus on networking though as im very intrested in the internet and its devolpment.

Any help would be welcome.

Doesn't the Internet have, uh, something or other to do with networks?

How about the MCSE or CCNA certification? :) The MCSE should be a good start :)
