Hello. I have narrowed it down between these two for they are pretty good for a newbie like me=) Well I am starting hosting and needed a cc transaction system that can be integrated into a shopping cart.. I see that 2co.com only accepts 4 major ccs and revecom acceps 4 major ccs+ more. I e-mailed both and 2co.com's tech support is way faster than revecom. revecom took 2 days to answer me and 2co took 1 day. Revecom didnt clarify my questions answer and 2co did. I asked 2co why I should choose them over revecom and here is what they said:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Almost any shopping cart that supports authorize.net or linkpt will work
with our system, provided you can point the shopping cart to us for payment.
Revecom does not provide for "real time" processing. Their approval process
on orders takes 2-3 days. If you use regular hosting sales as a guide
($10.00 - $15.00 per transaction) you will see that when you account for all
charges, we are by far a less expensive route than HostCharge and Revecom.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another thing, do most clients pay with ccs and how many pay by other methods? And I'm guessing htat most people who want to pay online will have 1 of the 4 major ccs. The main thing is that I see that paysytems looks like they do not allow shopping cart integration which I really want to do and not just link to revecom online store.. If that is the case I probably wont go with them. And is 2co.com payments instant as in..when customer is billed, money is in my bank? From what 2co.com techy says that it isnt.. What do you guys reccomend=)???
I say its good to have both !
since they don't have any monthly charges its more convinient to have both.

I cannot speak about 2checkout.com (although I have been considering them) but have been using Revecom for over a year. All in all, I would say they are not too bad. It is true that their Suppor and client consideration could definitely improve, but there are some things I do like.
They "call" the CC customer to verify the information. This cuts down fradulent order to almost nil. That is also why it takes longer to process orders.
They do charge US $1.00 for every transaction, regardless of amount, plus the 4.9% or thereabouts. Checks are always on time and any mistakes in amounts do get corrected fairly quick.
I originally chose them because:
A: living in Canada and not too long ago, it was a nightmare to try and do business online, outside of Canada. I liked that Revecom accepted many different CC, allowed for US citizens to use their bank accounts and accepted oodles of different currency.
B: it was easier to setup a Database for what I was offering than to setup a decent Shopping Cart. Also because of A, above.
As it stands right now, I will stay with Revecom till something better comes along, but besides their problem with Customer Service, their processing of orders is top-notch. They have also setup a system for paying out in Canadian funds. This would save me lots in costs for coversion of US dollars to Canadian.

i didnt try revecom before ....... but i dont recomend 2checkout at least now ..
i signed up with 2checkout.com since 13 months then when i launched new brand name i signed up again since about 4 months
1. 2checkout.com servers uptime about %80 .. so %20 of time your customers cant place orders ... this ratio enhanced since a month but get bad again
2. if customer send to them to cancel an order for stupid reason or for no reason at all (orders aroun $10 or $20) ... you will have at least 10 emails from every one work on 2checkout ..
they never think to save your rights ... never blam the customer .. just tell you "cancel the order or we will do"
well ... its ok .. the refund requests no more 0.3% of total number of orders
but what made me MAD    is for some reason i forget to adjust the reserv limit of 1 of my accounts .. so $3100+ balance in that account not wired in April first. its my mistake .. ok
i sent them ..... 10s of emails for each person in 2checkout to wire the $3100 with completly ignorance
so i wonder why all ppl contact me to refund $10 while no one reply me for $3100
i know that i type bad english .. but hope ppl can understand me

2CheckOut.com for sure! I have never seen their site down.. Maybe that's just me.
As far as them cancelling accounts, maybe it'd be a good idea to provide service good enough to keep their interest, or if they do cancel, don't make them run to the CC proccessor every time, do it yourself.

I said it was always up for me, not you. And you say it's down 20% of the time, and I'm certain that isn't the truth.

1. 20% downtime?
Get serious. In the last 4 months, our "downtime" has never totalled even 10 hours in a month (that's about 1%),
The payment gateway has never been down for over 10 hours in any of those 4 months.
2. Don't complain you never hear from us, or that we just outright cancel orders, or decide "the customer is always right"...and then state that you get a bunch of emails when a customer contacts us for a REFUND.
3. Why would you get mad at us, because by your own admission, you had a "Release Level" specified in your account, and we followed it?
One of the problems with CCing every email account you know, is that the people receiving the emails don't act on them if it not specific to their job....and it would be kind of silly for each to forward it to the correct department since you'd already sent it there.
