Okay, I've purchased a domain transfer from Netrillium Webhosting. My previous domain was registered with Magicomm who I believe belongs to the Dragon Network.

Well, it's been about 2 weeks and I have sent numerous helpdesk tickets to both companies, and basically all I have been told is:

The company transfering the domain needs to send out a request and the company releasing the domain has to accept the request.

However, its been two weeks and I haven't gotten a response from anyone on whether the request was accepted or rejected. I'm not sure what else to do, does anyone else have any ideas?

There are companies who look after the management of domain names, what company this is depends on the domain name extension.

If you could let us know what the domain name is, we should be able to point you to the company who deals with domain registrations, and general management of all domains under their respective extensions.

Your problem is at magicomm. You must ask them to release your domain (set it as unlocked and change the owner email to yours). You can't do anything if they don't do that.

However, magicomm is not reliable. I don't have any experience on them, but their 200Kb banner (http://magicomm.net/images/magicomm_06.jpg) tells me that.

I know of other people having problems with Netrillium, so I'm not surprised.

Yeah, a few years ago I had an absolute nightmare trying to transfer a domain from a local company. I finally had to have a lawyer call them up. Experience with transfers has led me to stay with a couple of hosts that are very nice about transferring sites (*********** and Ipowerweb.com) and Enom for the domains.
