!! Hi mod, Please remove if this doesn't seem fit here !!

Hi All,
bear with me... (putting boring codes aside...)

I am wondering if there is a most recognized online certification, say for a html developer. I saw this w3schools are offering online examinations for various certifications, including the HTML Developer Certificate, but are these certs recognized by web/host/IT companies?? Are they worth taking??

Which ones are W3C recommendations (online exam, pls)?? thanks.

:)

I doubt _real_ companies would consider these as qualifications.

BrainBench is a popular service for these.

Yep, if you're going to put your time into something, try to build up a portfolio. That will hold more weight than a few lines of text from some company they've probably never heard of.

I am thinking likewise... but again, I don't dare to show experts out there my crappy works... !! :(
