Any recommendations for a web based FTP program or file manager?
My hosting compnay only allows for 1 FTP login account. However ideally I need a solution that allows me to have unique ftp login/password accounts and which I can limited uploading access to specific folders.
Any recommendations?
Thanks.

I don't think I expressed my needs well enough.
My hosting company uses Plesk and I can only setup 1 FTP account through it.
However I am looking for a 3rd party web based package that would essentially become my FTP manager - I can use it to set up multiple accounts and through those accounts define and limit folders.
Eg - user1 can only upload to folder1 and user2 can only upload to folder2. And each user's account must be managed outside of Plesk.
Thanks.

I've always used Cute FTP, but I hear that filezilla is also really good...
If ftp accounts are that much of an issue, consider getting a host that allows for more ftp accounts...

Wow.. I've never seen people so ignorant... even after you posted that you need a web based ftp/filemanager.
I would tell you to go with net2ftp ( http://www.net2ftp.com/ ) but I don't think it offers user support.
The next best thing would be a search at http://ww.hotscripts.com .. i would search, but I don't know what language you want it in.

You should be able to hack up net2ftp to have your multi-user support. You will have to program that in, but a basic session/mysql based login system shouldnt be too hard.

Cute FTP is the best for me, but then again it is all personal preference.

thanks for everyone's reply.
In the end I have the ideal solution. A VPS with DirectAdmin installed - now everyone is happy :)
