I have been trying to cancel my account with my host for more than 2 weeks now. But it seems like its just ignoring my email. does anyone has any suggestions as to what I should do?
Thanks very much.

Call them. If they don't have a phone number, then...well, next time choose a host that has one. ;) If you can reach them by ICQ or AOL IM, try that. Otherwise, just fire off another e-mail. If your credit card gets charged on the next billing cycle and you haven't been able to reach them, contact your credit card company.

If your paying by credit card, call your credit card company and tell them your story and that you would like to refuse any further charges from the host.

This would be my advice also. They are still living up to their end of the agreement by providing you with hosting services up until the point that you have paid. What they will most likely do is just cut off your account on the renewal date anyways.
But if they do try and charge your card again, call your credit card company and ask to do a chargeback....

I assume you are paying by credit card otherwise it would not be an issue. If you have sent cancel notifications to this company then assume you will no longer be charged. Keep copies of all of your cancel notifications. If the company still charges you, simply call your credit card company to report the problem and they will chargeback the hosting company providing you a credit. You will likely need to supply the copies of your cancel requests for evidence, which requires you simply fill out a form and send in the evidence.
At any rate, this company is obviously unprofessional by not responding, and is a bad sign that they might try to continue charging you. I would recommend you warn others to avoid them.
Good luck,

Also make sure that you have looked around the host involved's site and that you are cancelling through the correct method, I know all of our cancellations have to go through a ticket and be confirmed with certain information by the customer before it will be processed to protect the customers data etc. A cancellation sent via the wrong method might possibly not get processed correctly. Most hosts really aren't going to 'refuse' to cancel an account as thats not a real good way of retaining customers.

Like Brendan said, make sure your request is going through the correct channels. For example if they have a specific billing email contact, use that. Or if they have a helpdesk, use the helpdesk.
