Yes, I believe that could be arranged. Could you please email me what you were thinking about in terms of the setup / monthly cost and we will go from there?

Thanks,

Since I'm getting quite a few questions on this:

1. The price above for the servers does not include bandwidth. To determine your price you would need to add the price of the server plus the price of bandwidth you desire (either Cogent or Premium).

2. We do offer fully managed services which include the following for RedHat ES/AS 3/4; CentOS or Fedora Core Operating Systems:

Full Management (includes operating system, updates, security, server hardening, 24x7 monitoring, cpanel/whm updates (provided you have or we provide a Cpanel license); +$50/mo

3. We also offer dedicated backup space at the price of $1.50 per GB.

* With 512 RAM

Thanks Thomas,

Thanks Thomas,

Hi,

Yes, I have a couple left with those specifications. If you would email me directly we could discuss it further. - tomp [at] myriadnetwork dot com.

I don't understand your pricing.
You have a price for server, a price for unmetered, and a price for overusage.

So do I pay server rental + unmetered price, but then if it is unmetered, why there is a overusage, if you can cap the speed?

I still don't understand it. Here is what I am interesed, please tell me how much it will cost:

Pentium 4 - 2.8Ghz - 1 Gig RAM - 2 x 160 Gig SATA HD
$99.99/mo
$0/setup

10M Burstable Value

Do I apy 99.99+120=119 per month?

What does burstable mean?
If my average is only 5M, but for just 1 minute it goes to 11M, do I pay the $14 overusage? or you consider Bustable as an average over 5 minute, 30 minute, or simply only per SECOND.

Basically you have two choices with the bandwidth.

You can choose 'capped' which is basically unmetered. For example if you choose "10/Mbps - $120/Month" the maximum bandwidth your server could use is 10Mbps.

If you choose 'burstable' bandwidth you pay for what you use at a given rate, and anything above that is billed at the overage rate. For example, if you choose 10Mbps of burstable bandwdith and at the end of the month used 11Mbps you would pay $120 (10Mbps) plus $14 (1Mbps) for a total of $134.

The burstable bandwidth gives you the flexibility of bursting to either 100Mbps or 1000Mbps and you are being billed based on the 95th percentile.

So, to answer your scenario:

Server - Pentium 4 - 2.8Ghz - 1 Gig RAM - 2 x 160 Gig SATA HD
$99.99/mo

10Mbps Burstable - $120/mo

Total per month $99.99 + $120 = $219.99 provided you did not burst above the allocated 10Mbps.

Given the above scenario say your 95th percentile for the month was 12Mbps. You would end up paying as follows:

Server - Pentium 4 - 2.8Ghz - 1 Gig RAM - 2 x 160 Gig SATA HD
$99.99/mo

10Mbps Burstable - $120/mo

2Mbps Overage @ $14/Mbps = $28

$99.99 + $120.00 + $28 = $247.99

Using the same scenario you present, say your 95th percentile for the month was 9Mbps. You would end up paying as follows:

Server - Pentium 4 - 2.8Ghz - 1 Gig RAM - 2 x 160 Gig SATA HD
$99.99/mo

10Mbps Burstable - $120/mo

$99.99 + $120 = $219.99

A good description of the 95th percentile can be found here - http://www.seanadams.com/95/
