Forgive the numerous questions I'm about to ask, but your offers appear outstanding, and I want to gather more information before I invest. Thanks in advance...
Are all the features available in the "regular" accounts available in the reseller accounts?
e.g. When I setup a resold accout, may I choose which features to include for that plan (e.g. check off PHP, MySQL to include it for that customer)?
Do you carry (standard or extra): ability to run java applets, jscript, vbscript, ASP?
Are resold accounts also under the 30-day money back guarantee (for me and for my customres)?
Is there a price list for the features I can add/not add? And do you have a comprehensive list of features available to resell?
How many email accounts POP and Webmail come standard with the reseller accounts? Or shall I ask, how much does it cost me PER resold email account -- including the price depending upon which reseller plan I have?
How does it work if a customer goes over their limit? Clearly they have no "acutal" limit as I, the reseller, pay for their useage, but can I track their useage so I can bill over the limit? And can I setup to automatically bill them if they go over?
How is the reseller control panel different from the customer contrl panel. And which panel am I looking at in the demo on your site?
Is my main account (my reseller account) just another use of resources on my reseller plan?
Can I use your server info on my site e.g "We are supported by unix servers and have xyz backbone..." (the information that is distributed on your site -- I don't mean to ask about deep dark server secrets)?
Who does upgrades for customers? Does the customer email me? And then I change their plan "in my head" by charging them more and not charging for over the limit?
Can the subdomains point to subdirectories, or do the subdomains all point to the main index page?
Do you support email aliasing? And up to how many aliases?
What does "IP's purchased" mean? Does this refer to actual static IP's, or virtual IP's. Is it safe to assume that without the IP, the customer can only access their site by, for example, www.customerssite.com?
Must I legally notify a customer that I am a reseller?
May I use your company's legal statement as a template for a legal statement on my reselling site?
Thanks in advance for your patience and your answers. I know this would have been easier to ask on the phone, but I understand that this method keeps costs low. If nothing else, at least this information will be available when someone else asks in the future.
Thanks,
David W
