What marketing schemes are other website and graphic designers using?

In this type of business, we need to advertise effectively, and proficiently.

I am currently having the hardest time thinking of an advertising 'scheme' for my company, which offers web and graphic design.

Any ideas would be helpful. If you think your scheme is good enough, post it.

I am sure nobody uses those ghetto Sunday News Paper ads that have empty spaces with the "Your Ad Here - Call: Number".

That's too lame, not creative, and way too generic.
