I could be *very* wrong, but isn't Wayne o'er at Sitepoint doing someting? You can try to shoot him an email wayne@sitepoint.com (but don't tell 'em I sent you in case I'm wrong :))

Hi. I am (trying to be) a webexpose reseller. I just sent five questions.
3 tickets (support way not very pleasant) 2 emails to Philip, one "pager" another email from the front page as if I were a new customer....
It seems like a bad virus came into Webexpose and all the machines are the only thing that lives there... ;-)

I've heard that since they changed the target to the resellers they just like the big ones... unless you have more than 50 resold accounts you are nothing.

Does anyone have any notice about Philip?
Does anyone understand how to setup that signup script?
I've got something, placeing my reseller code just where it says "Dont touch this part or the script won't run!!!" But it seams is the only way.
Does anyone know what happens when the customer fills the credit card info? (I don't have a merchant account). Do they send me a check then?
Do they get all the money ;-( ?
Do you know any other alike host to recomend? (just in case I have to run away...)

Sorry about my english. I am from Argentina.

Bye

Hi all,

We used to resell for them just recently. In about 3 months we easily sold over 100 accounts with them. They have a great product and great features, unfortunetly the support needs urgent attention.

One day all of our customers email was not working. I personally sent over 30 emails total to Phillip, Sales and Support. I submitted about 10 Online Trouble Tickets and left over 20 messages on their answering machine. NO ANSWER!!

I called their toll-free line and all I got was an answering machine. I then looked at my Credit Card statement and tried to reach them using the direct line provided and I finally got a real person. The problem now was that it was actually Phillip's dad, I asked the phone number for Phillip and he gave it to me, I then contacted Phil and explain the situation, he said that he would take care of the problem as soon as possible. I watied and waited, the problem wasn't fixed. Now, the when you try to reach anyone at webexpose.net you never get a response, I try to reach Phil again but now, he won't answer that line anymore. Learn from my experience, save yourself some time and money...don't host with them.

frontserve,

If you are not using webexpose now, who does do your hosting ?

I left a message recently with you and had no response. I basically wanted to know if I could set up something like the budget plan, and then upgrade to SQL server if I needed later. Only I don't need the bandwidth or space of the NT Pro account, and therefore don't want to pay as much.

We are not reselling anymore, we have dedicated servers at http://www.skynetweb.com..

About your question of adding SQL Server to a different plan besides the NT Pro, email me at carlos@frontserve.com and I will see what we can do. Thanks.

Webexpose still lists Frontserve as a reseller of their plans! Carlos...are you still getting business from them anyway?

I'm still with them as an end-user. I signed up on an annual plan so I still have some time to go before I have to switch.
