I am an amateur web designer from India. I am making my first ever site and would like some suggestion from u guys. I am making a general site putting as many things as possible (does anyone have any suggestion as to what I should have on the site). I also wish to put mp3s but I have no idea as to I am allowed to post mp3s or not...does anyone know? Another thing what I want to know is what do I have to do if I want to give software’s such a winamp, sonique for download through my site like for e.g. download.com or zdnet.com or just put a link for it (also where and how do I get that link)??...Any suggestion would be welcomed. As an amateur web designer, I suggest you surf the Internet, and check out some sites to get ideas of what YOU would want to have on YOUR site.

I'm not sure whether you can upload MP3's to your server, but I don't see why not. You might want to investigate further on this matter. The same goes with using links from other websites; you may need permission first.
