When you can purchase names for Under $9, why use a sub-par name? You are certainly investing far more than that in your site in terms of both money and effort, so don't make a mistake over $9. I considered 4 of those to be good names....all gone now however. But they become available every day. And these were all .com. This is without even considering .net or others. Try the approach of representing an IT company instead. That frees you a little bit of the dot com image but still does the job. You can put the word "services" to work as an example.
