I am looking for an affordable e-commerce solution that includes credit card processing for visa, mastercard, and american express. And low %'s on the card processing. Any ideas?

There are quite plenty hosting companies who can offer you the service for the web space and its amenities. However, some or most web hosting companies do not offer merchant account.

Many people choose their favorite host and then apply for 3rd party merchant such as:
http://2checkout.com
http://revecom.com
http://paypal.com
http://worldpay.com
http://propay.com
etc ...

Although it seems many people use www.2checkout.com, I would recommend using something like www.paypal.com. 2checkout has HIGH rates 5.5% is a lil to steep for me. While paypal charges 2.5% or 3%. Also check into getting a merchant account with someone like www.authorize.net or someone along that line.

2CheckOut had connectivity problems when I tried it, but that was a few months ago. As for PayPal, many people don't like signing up for PayPal just to use their credit card.

You may lose customers by using Paypal (you will understand what I mean when you try to order through Paypal yourself). Make it an option beside 2checkout or revecom
