Does anyone know where I can get an online tutorial to setup DNS on a windows 2000 server. We want it to be an internal stand alone dns server that our local clients will hit before going to an internet dns server. Any help would be great. Hope this question makes sense.

If you open up the DNS MMC Manager and right click on the server listed, there is a configuration wizard available. It's pretty straight forward.

thats the funny part there is no configuration wizard button. Even my windows 2000 server book says that. Now my boss installed this server, I'm wondering if he had already run the wizard before passing the project down to me. Would it remove that item from the list. I guess I'll try to remove dns and add it back see what happens then.
