Hii all,
I am planning to become a resellers for a domains..with a good registrar...I would like you suggestions as to which is best for a reseller...
i mean price wise, service wise...and other aspects...which registrar do you suggest...me..??
Anyone here is a reseller...with an experience...also..pls give in your vaulable suggestions...??
Also...i would like to know, as to how it works...is it like they charge per year for a certain number of domains or is it just the number of years...immaterial of the number of domain names...???
And what is the actual price..i end paying for each domain...i mean...do they consider the number of domains..I have sold per month or year to calculate the per domain price...or is it just that, i have to buy a fixed number of domains or domain years...and its upto me whether I can sell or not in that given time frame...??
Thanks much for help in advance here
:)

You have alot of questions so please forgive me if I do not spend too much time answering them all. I suggest that you take some advice here and follow up with the registrars. Make them work for their money and test their service at the same time.
This being said, we resell for eNom (http://www.enom.com/) and we couldn't he happier. Their service has been great (we have our own account rep available by phone if necessary) and considering all the value added services that come with every domain, the prices are great.
Check out their site to familiarize yourself with their services and ask for more info.

Hii again,
jmcmike....Thanks for ur suggestions...i wish, you could have shared much more about enom...okay...when you have some spare time...please come back and post in your suggestions...
I read thru' the reseller info on enom.com....As you have mention they did appeal to me...infact...the info provided on their site, tries to cover much comparatively...!
I also checked out..stargate reseller info...but since...the prices for reseller on enom has to obtained by writing to them, i could not compare them Price wise....I should get in touch with enom sales dept. some time soon...
Currently, i am buying fresh domains at apprx $7 US...but for renewals i am paying approx $9...!...I he is reselling for either dotregistrar or open SRS....anyone have experience as a reseller with them...pls give me some suggestions...!
Thanks again
:)
I recommend Dotster (http://ir.dotster.com)s reselling program. It is fully customizable and it looks great. The prices are decent!

About the pricing, they aren't as cheap as some but you get four things with eNom that I didn't get from the others in my initial investigation, at least not all of them at once:
1) Individual attention. I have a named account representative that I can call on the phone. I can (and have) held her feet to the fire if I need to.
2) A full featured, clean, practically bug free interface.
3) Solid, marketable, value added services included with every domain.
4) No competition. eNom charges quite a bit for their domains at the retail level, so you don't have to worry about your customers finding out who you resell for.
The actual pricing as of the time I signed up had three teirs:
1) $8.95 per domain (com/net/org/info/biz/ws) with a initial deposit of $495 to your account.
2) $7.95 per domain (com/net/org/info/biz/ws) with a initial deposit of $bigbucks to your account.
3) $6.95 per domain (com/net/org/info/biz/ws) with a initial deposit of $biggerbucks to your account.

You may want to consider alldomains too. their service is not very nice but price is good and they have a combination of other products to choose from.

i am also an enom reseller and I can highly recommend them for all the reasons that jmcmike pointed out.
The interface works great and I rarely have the need to use customer service, but one of the great things is that they do assign a customer represenative to you, you know their full name and you can contact them if you have any trouble, which is more of a personal approach that you will find with some other companies.
Add the value added features that they offer for free, and they are a good choice.
