I am currently looking for someone to develop a script/program in either perl, c++, or python that will simply parse a DNS zone file and insert into a pre-defined MySQL table. I am willing to pay $30-$50 for this project as it should be fairly simple to those who might be interested. I would also like to have this project finished within 7-14 days. Anyone who might be interested should have at least a basic understanding of what a DNS zone file looks like.

Please let me know if I missed out on any relevant information as this is the first job I have posted on this discussion forum. Also, if you have any questions, please dont hesitate to ask!

May be you need show http://bind-dlz.sourceforge.net/ first?

bind-dlz version on sourceforge.net is quite old :) use version for latest bind from http://projects.navynet.it/ instead :)

i have also alredy done script thats uses it (currently running on 4 servers) but certainly i will not sell it for less than 100$
