This is not a remote position. You must be in the Greater Toronto Area or willing to relocate.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:
1.) Providing technical support through the telephone to clients and answering helpdesk tickets.
2.) Building/Racking of new servers along with the operating system as required.
3.) Handle reboot requests of dedicated servers as needed.

Must have expertise in one of the following operating systems and be willing to learn all operating systems: Windows 2000/2003 server, Linux, FreeBSD and Unix. Knowledge of the following are a plus: apache, qmail, sendmail, IIS, IMail, SQL, FTP, SSH terminal services, VNC, DirectAdmin, Plesk, cPanel/WHM and other web related applications and/or utilities.

Are outsourcing companies allowed to apply for this position? All our techs are local and we are only a few minutes away from the gta.

I guess I could possible look into the possibility of outsourcing support but don't have that as my #1 priority at the moment.
