Hi,

I'm moving from authorize.net due some problems with them. So, folks, can you suggest me something like authorize.net? With similiar interace, prices, CC support and so on.

Thanks,

Max J.

these guys resell verisign's payflow pro (formerly signio) based cc transaction management.. they give it for much cheaper.. i think 50 permonth or so.. very nice.

check out Echo Inc as well, their web site is at http://www.echo-inc.com -- about to switch to them myself.... ;)

but also have a look at online data corp.. if I had to select a merchant account I would go with Echo or online data corp (because heard a lot of positive feedback about them on this forum). Sometimes paying a bit more is well worth it.. :)

ps. are you with cardservice + authorizenet right now?

What problems are you having with authorize.net?

Anything to do with their recent changes, maybe it is something we can help you with.

I use authorize.net with my modernbill.com setup and it works GREAT!

Could you share some of your concerns with authorizenet? We recommend a merchant provider that uses them for the payment gateway and I want to make sure I'm not recommending a potential problem.

Hi folks,

Authorizenet have 3 problems for us:
1. After recent changes in credit function we can't give a refund with 24h. Always getting "Invalid Ammount" or "Invalid Trasaction ID". That is not a big problem.
2. Recent time we start getting more often next error:
"Please try again in 5 minutes"
3. That is the problem for us. That is why we need a move.
Few days ago Authorizenet has blocked Eastern Europe for using thier gateway. We have several employers in Eastern Europe, so they can't work for us anymore using Authorizenet.
We have contacted them to unblock a list of employer's IP's. They have agreed, but it already took 2 days. We cant wait any longer.

But I have to say that Authorizenet is very good solution. Problem #3 is reason of our moving.

Our update:

Authorize.NET has unblocked the IPs we have requested.

btw we used Cardservice + Authorizenet - so we had mostly problems with Cardservice...

I liked Authorizenet support :) they reply quickly on e-mails - at least it used to be like that
