I do some webdesign work and looking for a software to create invoiced. I dont want to pay 400 buck for quickbooks. Anyone using any free ones?

Are you looking for an accounting program or just any program to create an invoice? Programs like Microsoft Word have invoice templates.

You can use Microsoft Access to create invoices and automate them.
Same for Microsoft Excel to some extent.
Although these aren't free but usually bundled with your computer.

If you want something professional for more largescale purposes you can try Sage (although it may contain a lot of features you don't need).

I'm not aware of any free invoicing programs. If you look at the logic, if you're buying a program to invoice people then you must be making money (from the people you are invoicing), and if you're making money then you should be able to purchase the software...

I recommend gnucash if you have linux.

If you don't have linux, you can always have a vpn to one of your servers and run it through vnc.
