Every so often I see people selling $6.95 Enom accounts... And there's always mention of an ETP.
What's an ETP?
I have a reseller account with a different registrar and am able to offer sub-reseller accounts, I could at least meet or even beat the pricing I see on those offers. Should I start offering them? If so, for what price? Aside from the ability to purchase domains at $6.95, what do the Enom offers include? Is there any downside for me as the owner of the reseller account?
{ edit } I just realized this should've gone into the Domain Names forum instead of this one... If a mod could move it, I'd appreciate it.

You should def resell some accounts if you get them cheaper than 6.95 a domain. We would be interested in your prices as well, contact us.

ETP = Enom Technology Partner.
Probably the best place to find what they offer is on there website. They have a much more user friendly setup then for instance directi who does offer domains cheaper.

I have no idea what my price for the package would be... I see the Enom packages going for around $200, it that the going rate?

That struck me as I was driving home from work today. ;-)

I'll take a look there, thanks.
BTW, I'm with DirectI. I agree their user interface isn't 100% user friendly, but once you get used to it it's not so bad. Plus they have a nice API that works very well with my cart program. And they are cheaper!

Thanks for that as well!

Completely different animal between eNom and Directi accounts. I had a bottom dollar Directi account early last year and couldn't even give away $6.85 reseller accounts. I am glad now though because after months of language barriers with customer support and all the downtime from myorderbox...I realized I was better off sticking with eNom.

Ah, ok.
I've been with DirectI for close to a year and haven't had any problems with them (yet?).
Thanks for the info, I guess I'll keep my cheap domain registrations to myself. ;-)
