DedicatedNOW Data Center

The DedicatedNOW Data Center resides in Clifton, NJ, just 14 miles from New York City. This new facility boasts enormous growth potential allowing us capabilities of up to 55,000 sq ft of pure datacenter floor space, and ease of access to backbone providers. Currently, the facility incorporates over 7,500 sq ft of completed raised floor data center space, along with 5000 sq ft of corporate office space which includes a front reception area, conference rooms, and ample space for our employees. The new datacenter has been carefully planned from inception to overcompensate for such factors as cooling, generators, UPS's, secondary generators, fire suppression, and much, much more. What's mean with "waived" ?

It won't be charged as part of this special. Basicly in simple terms normally there is a setup fee on each server but for this special there is not.

Well, normally there are 4 levels of pricing 3 setup and no setup. We dropped it down to there were we elimiated the highest monthly and eliminated the lowest setup.

Does the above server come with cPanel? Is this a 10 or 100mbps port? Can you give me a test ip and test file to download?

No, cpanel is $20 a month extra and the port is 10mbps port upgrade to 100mpbs port is $10 a month. An ip to test and download from 216.67.229.205. I am sorry, but that $99 waive code is only good for the first setup level.

The opteron servers located in NJ or NY?

Level3 and NYIIX when are these coming? I have seen posts you have been advertising them back in February.

These servers are located in NJ. And everytime we signup for level3 they sell out of ports in ewr. Happened just again this week. Lawyer finished reading over the contract, my rep calls me and says l3 sold out of gige ports in newark, its sad , almost comical.

No, we do not I am sorry, but our transport isn't near 50% yet.

I am sorry there is no way we can offer a dual opteron for $199 without a setup fee. That is like asking for a mercedes at honda prices.

It wasnt unproffesional just illustrating a point, for anyone else would might be reading this thread. As questions like that are asked very often, when we are only waiving our $99 setup fee level not our $399 level.

I am not going to make it a debate, but sometimes with companies when I go and purchase a server if I sign say a 12,24 or even a 36 month contract they will give a discount on either the monthly fee or the setup fee. I am not someone trying to get something for nothing. I feel your setup fee is very reasonable, but was asking a legitimate question.

This is why when you go buy a mercedes you ask the dealer what are they going to give you when I walk in there with a check for the price of the car. If one dealer says he will waive his "processing fee" and the other isn't, guess who has a better chance at receiving the business. It is business. Back to your sales thread. If you wish to discuss this more I am available through PM.

Normally customers, who sign an extended contract, can get a concession if you want more info please email us at sales@dedicatednow.com. This is especially true when you move over multiple servers of 5 or more, we offer nice discounts on contracts like that.

Is FortressITX.com located on the same network as DedicatedNOW and VPSColo? The reason I ask if FortressITX comes right up and the others take a while to load. Doing a trace they are, but just on different ip's.

Are orders only processed M-F?

That is correct, M-F. sometimes we can get a late one in on a friday depending on the box.

Say if I placed my order tomorrow if would the billing start tomorrow the 20th or Monday when the server is actually set up? From my understanding you only bill the 1, 10 and 20th of each month. Reason I am asking is with the $399 setup fee I do not want to pay another two weeks on top of that and the first month.

If you order tomorrow, your billing will be prorated to the 1st, and we can work out the prorate and monthly billing and such please email sales@dedicatednow.com and we can discuss further.

The price is on the monthly fees not including cpanel. And we don't have a prize frozen policy, but in our 9 years in business we never retroactively raised prices on legacy clients. And we don't expect to.
