Hello,

I have a domain name on my server, which have 3 email accounts. When I try to use Outlook Express to download my emails I get window prompting password again and again, even if I enter the correct password. Though, I can access my mails through Neomail entering the same password.

Any idea why is this happening?

It sounds like you have Secure email checked (APOP) for the email account. Outlook doesn't like it, and you'll get that prompt and you won't be able to log in.

That is my #1 guess of what is happening.

Even if you don't have APOP enabled, enable it for the site and/or for the particular user, *then* disable it (uncheck it) and it should be ok (if that *is* the problem).

Thanks for the concern Chicken. Luckily, e-mail accounts had started working when I woke up this morning. Don't know how. :(

Atleast they are working now as they used to work before.

Perhaps run through the logs might shed some light on it.... I am also curious what might have caused the probs.... might learn something from it.
