I have an interview scheduled for my forum here:
Mozilla Firefox (http://www.firefoxforum)

The interview will be with a Mozilla engineer who has a very busy schedule. In order to keep the flow of the interview going well I would like to ask you all to help me out. What questions should I ask him?

So far here is a couple I have just thought of and that have been suggested on other sites:

What has the success of Firefox brought to the Mozilla Organization?
What do you think about IE7? Do you believe you will lose part of the browser market share back to IE?
Recently, I read an article which stated that the next major Firefox release would be 1.5. Can we still expect this release in this summer?
Many companies and organizations will be very pleased with the automatic update that will be incorporated in Firefox 1.5. Do you expect to see more companies migrating from IE to Firefox because security updates will be much less of a hassle?
Ask about mozilla foundation's debut of a "for-profit" sector in regards to firefox promotion.
Maybe ask about the roadmap of FF, how it aims to develop in the future, what kind of possible features
And a broader question of will browsers change in the way they do things on the net etc.
With Netscape designed to be capable of mimicking both IE and Firefox, what makes Firefox a better choice?
What do you see in store for Firefox five years from now? Ten years?
What is the most common mistake Firefox users make with their browsers?

Help me get a decent list of questions going. This could really help me out with getting other sites to link to me.

Note: I just want to mention that I didn't think I'd actually get the interview time when I requested it. So for that reason, I was not very well prepared.

A few more questions that were suggested...

What's the best user-made plug-in you've come across?

How do you think that the open source element has effected the developement and marketability of Firefox?

Do you think that Firefox will ever become the dominant browser?

Not sure if people have suggested this to you but maybe you can ask about the motivation behind creating Firefox in the first place?

7,8,9 sound redundant.

Expanding on 2, ask if FireFox has any plans to get users to switch from IE, specifically ones who wouldn't understand security issues with IE, or be interested in some of FireFoxes more unique features.

It seems apparent Mozilla considers its Firefox product to be a direct competitor to Internet Explorer. Does Mozilla view other browser companies/development groups such as Opera, K-Meleon, Konqueror, Safari, etc. to be competitors as well?

Are there plans in the future for Mozilla to actively position its product against these other companies?

What is Firefox's primary development motivation(s), and does this apply to how it relates to all browsers, or is Firefox specifically a response to inadequecies in IE?

Excellent interview, though it sounds like Mr. Hoffman was exercising an excessive amount of caution, choosing his words with a great deal of prudence at times. Something tells me his answers off-record would have been a bit more candid and aggressive here and there ;)

Yea, it's the first time I've actually interviewed someone so it wasn't that bad I didn't think. But yea, he was rather catious and stressed a lot on how important extensions were for Firefox.
