1) i reccommend venturesonline.com

2) buy an external license

3) if you're already familiar with it, it should be easy

I am having the same situation as you, I reseller with WHM?CPanel team and planing to move to a ded as soon as I feel confident.

I have seen many praises and good things here about VentuersOnline. They offer WHM/Cpanel and planning to go with them.

I hope I could hear your experiance.

Hello
I just looked into the external licensing.
It susually $99 per month per server which might seem a lot but it includes all the automatic patching.

Most of the companies that sell external licences offer an installation service.

However, the Rackshack boxes have Redhat 7.2 which may cuase problems with Cpanel.
You should check this out with one of the Cpanel distributors
before committing.

Cpanel works fine in Red Hat 7.2. It used to have some issues a long time ago but they've been worked out.

Thanks
I just noticed the other day that 7.2 was not on the list of supported operating systems at cpanel.net.
I though it might have still been "unsupported"

We load RH 7.2 on all our in-house machines with Cpanel and have no issues at all related to RH 7.2.

VenturesOnline is not taking dedicated orders until 1 June 2002. They have plenty of room for boxes since they just moved to a bigger facility but their growth is too fast and in order to continue offering outstanding support they have hit the pause button on new orders. I love that company.

Yep Venturesonline are very good but that does come at a price.
They are quite expensive - If you are happy paying their rates then you would have no problems with their service.

Good to see that they put a block on orders after moving to the new data center - perhaps they weren't as ready as they thought they were.

Good company.

I probably should not speak for VO as I did above but rather just quote their own words. I am curious to see what the new price structure will be. In any event I don't expect it to be as cheap as Rackshack and others.

So in order to correct my possible misspeak here is the quote:

"Since the move to our own data center in January, our sales have almost doubled. Although exciting, the increase in sales has prevented us from finishing some infrastructure projects that will allow us to provide better service and support to our growing base of customers.

We plan to take this time to finish many of these projects and to complete our new product development for rollout in June."

I would recommend getting a quote from Ed at pwebtech.com as well. They are a CPanel reseller and had an offer in the offers forum a few days ago.
