Any one know what's up with PWebTech?
I can't connect to my server on dcjn link...

I think NAC might have a network glitch... My server at NAC is slow, much slower than usual.

I can see that problem starts at nac-1.border11.nyc.pnap.net (209.191.130.94) ... A lot of lags starting on this hop

Basically we/nac are having a HUGE DDOS attack. And currently ther are 4 Net Engin: working on the problem.

seems the problem is fixed ... hm... impressive. How long ago did the problem start? Definitely the problem is fixed within 10 minutes (or around that)... impressive.

It's unfortunate DCJN gets attacked quite a lot. Maybe it's time to take some preventative measures.

I'm not very happy with this downtime!

These attacks are only recent and are not expected to continue much longer.

No, i didn't get your icqs my home comps hd failed and i am on a backup old comp, which has a virus :( so i don't have access to my office comp to view my icq's i am sorry. but you can PM me if needed.

Well, Pajo.com on the West coast reported huge denial of service attacks too!

All day two of our three sites have been up and down (PWebtech / Pajo)

Weinbar has actually been the stronger of our three!

hm ... again now on NAC ... 7000+ms lag on the nac-1.border11.nyc.pnap.net .... yep ... up a down like mountains :)

Yha, we have having MAJOR loss the last 60 minutes at pwebtech.... I am monitoring them out of affordablecolo.com in Dallas and seeing 15 second delays on all my requests (normally 2/10th of a second!)

oh geez .... things look getting worse now ... it's no longer roller coaster, but it's all red lines on my pingplotter :(

OK ... NAC seems to be OK now, but DCJN is still showing some packet losse (internal to DCJN). nac-1.border11.nyc.pnap.net seems to be back normal

Those PC routers can't handle the load of the DoS attack. :eek:

:mad: I can't stand hackers. ERR. We have had DoS attacks in our Network before and our customers and myself and the other staff didn't like it to well.... People need to learn how to respect :)

Sigh... unlucky us, we have servers in VDI and NAC :rolleyes:

Poor You Matt. I know you had some other trouble us, you and splash host our trouble was on the 26th and thank goodness we found no more of those sorry things..

We (Deru/Weinbar) have two IRC servers on our network - we get lots of practice at stopping DOS attacks...

We have about 2 gigabits of available inbound capacity - it would take a hefty DOS attack to take the network down with just traffic flows...

yeah, i can imagine how much irc servers attrack dos attacks ... but as you said, it's only good, as your learning how to filter effective :D

yea, I realized that too (been monitoring their network for the past 24 hours). Problem seem to be at their core1.dcjn.pwebtech.com . Does not seem to be DOS attack since the problem just suddenly start without prior indication. Well, let's see how long it will take them to fix this. Best of wishes for them ...

I am wondering if they are suffering from router failure - we've seen it get clogged up a couple of times over the past week, and now this....

I certainly hope it's resolved soon.

Yep - my server is unreachable. DCJN has been having troubles lately - I hope they all get smoothed out.

My traceroute dies after aggr1.oct.dcjn.net

back up now :)

BTW - I posted this in another thread but it may have gone un-noticed -> Any Pwebtech DCJN customers can PM me with their ICQ number if they want to stay in touch. I have one other DCJN customer on my ICQ list and it is good to compare notes - and cross-check if there are problems.

Any pwebtech customer down as of now? My server at Site5 is down, as well as Site5. Not sure whether this is a problem with Site5 or with pwebtech. It might be with Site5 since DCJN and NAC (as well as pwebtech itself) are all up.
