A lot of dedicated server and colo providers offer web hosting and other services as well. As a web hosting provider I don't want to compete with my own provider and I don't want my clients to easily track my provider.

Although it is often very easy to track in which datacenter a server is because providers often do not care much hiding it.

I am searching for providers who actually care about this and who provides services pretty anonymously.

Affordable Colo
Traceroutes and ARIN lookup only leads to idir.net. I checked affordablecolo.com, I wonder if I'd get similar results from one of their customers...?

Ventures Online
Traceroute to www.venturesonline.com shows nothing. Arin lookup shows the IP is owned by Verio. Once again I'd like to see if their clients get same results..


For most of the other providers I tried, a simple traceroute would lead directly to them.
