The same PowerEdge 1650 from the Dell UK store costs: $3,367.56 = £2,345.30

Yes, but I need the server shipped to me first to do customizations etc. That's why my logical choice would be the UK store - or was until I saw those prices.

Ah, I see. I was going to suggest that you purchase the server through a host, have them install the OS to your specs.

Hey.. use radmin for remote pc administration stuff it rocks :))) No need to ship hardware to UK and then back - you will have a lot of problems with tolls and high shipping charges....

I just got two servers from gateway - nice units 935c 1u

They are very reasonably priced IMO now I just have to work hard to get more customers :)
