what are the most preferred design layouts at the moment.

I currently have a center block with a solid border, however I anm thinking of changing this.

would a full page layout be better be better?

I have felt previously that the full page seems to spread the focus and takes away form the main infomration on the page.

also what about a page that has lots of different content?

any ideas would be great
